Celebrate with us - make a vegetable face!

We have had such a busy week....with the book coming out today. A little while back we held a party for Freddie and Alex and their friends to mark reaching Z for Zucchini. It has been a very long journey, nearly two years and has been such fun for all of us. To celebrate with all of you out there, Freddie and Alex thought you might like to try making another vegetable face, as we did last year. We will send the best one a copy of The Great Big Veg Challenge book! If you have children or grandchildren or pupils, there is a prize for the best entry from a child but also a prize for the best vegetable face from an adult. So get in touch with your inner child... Send us your faces to our email address which is in the profile. The rules are simple - use vegetables to create a face, photograph it, email it to us with your first name and where in the world you come from...We would love to have faces from people in every continent!

  1. Last year (is it really a year ago?) I went right out and made a fairly feeble face on the kitchen table, and then squirmed with embarrassment when I saw Celia's utterly beautiful veggie face. This year I'm going to think a little harder before submitting ... I'd forgotten until I looked at the slide show just how life-enhancing they are, lots of real beauty, even more laughs

Thanks for repeating a really fun idea

It was not feeble - every vegetable face is unique in its own way!!
But I agree Celia's was extraordinary. I am hoping she will enter again this year because it raises the vegetable face bar as it were...
If you know of anyone else who might enjoy taking part - non bloggers as well -0 just let them know about us.

Trig - not sure what comes next - I have to keep up the momentum with Freddie and the vegetables as I suspect he could slowly revert. Evolution in reverse...

Holler - Fantastic - I will take great pleasure putting all these together!
