Tonight we are taking our inspiration from someone in the US state of Georgia who pointed us in the direction of a green bean recipe.I have also seen this called Southern Beans. This is one version called plantation beans.
Green beans, along with peas sit high on Freddie's irrational list of most loathed vegetables. Something about their uncompromising greenness repels him. Quite how the green bean entered his psyche as a monster I will never know. But I am pairing them with one of his favourite tastes - bacon. Not sure what will happen...
