Who would have thought it? Broad beans were transformed into something quite exquisite. And I can say with all confidence that my son, he of the turning-up-nose, eyes-screwed up, pale-face tucked into a bowl of broad bean soup as if he had been born into a Vegan commune. "This", he declared, "Is something I will be wanting again!" So on this note of unbridled optimism the Great Big Veg Challenge is moving on, saying farewell to the B vegetables and hello to C is for....... Suggestions please?
