Welcome to the World's First Great Big Vegetable Challenge! Six years ago we went on a vegetable journey of a lifetime. A 7 year year old boy named Freddie and his mother faced up to the challenge of turning him from a Vegetable-Phobic into a boy who will eat and even enjoy some of life's leafier pleasures. We ate through the alphabet of vegetables...and returned to tell the tale. Join our Great Big Veg Challenge!

Vegetables for breakfast - we face the challenge!
A month ago Christa, a fellow blogger, challenged Freddie to eat vegetables for breakfast. So there you are - you threw down the gauntlet and we picked it up. Asparagus soldiers with a boiled egg. You can see Freddie in his stripy pyjamas tucking in to what has now become a favourite weekend breakfast.
And its time for the GBVC to move on to the next C vegetable ( there are so many to get through...) We are having a bit of a break with C for corn which to be honest with you all was the only vegetable other than potatoes that Freddie would eat before we started the challenge. I don't begrudge him an easy time every now and then. That doesn't mean we don't want your sweetcorn recipes though.
HELLO TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN DIRECTED HERE BY THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE FOR CANCER RESEARCH.
